I really enjoyed this book. It's a coming of age novel that doesn't include a period or first time sex. Willow dean, the main character, is judgmental and selfish and selfish. And like most 16 year olds, she doesn't realize it yet. But during the course of this novel she starts to realize that she is strong, selfish, and that she doesn't exist at the center of the universe. I liked that the author resisted the urge to tie everything up with a nice bow at the end. She also let her characters be real and not politically correct. Just a warning, the reviews are really varied so you may love or you may hate this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
