Put me in coach!

Sariah never expected to inherit her father’s beloved basketball team but now that she has she’s got little time to learn the business, the game, and who she can trust. Justus never expected to find love again but when Sariah asks him to coach her on the game he can’t help but fall for her.

I loved, loved, loved that Justus absolutely respected Sariah and her status as a business woman as well as being unafraid to admit when he caught feelings. The journey of Sariah’s grief was wonderfully handled and added an another emotional layer to her path to HEA with Justus.

But my two favorite things about Jump Ball were:
1. These were grown people, he’s over 40 and she’s almost 40, acting like grown people! No silly miscommunication or refusal to be honest, just a touch of a freeze out but I felt it was justified. And their physical connection and intimacy was clear and HOT!
2. Justus’ relationship with and parenting of his twin daughters.
