taralara24 's review for:
Born at Midnight
by C.C. Hunter
I'm hooked on this series, I read 'Born at Midnight' in 2 and a half days.
It's rather tame in comparison to Kim Harrison or Richelle Mead's adult series, but the innocence of the adolescents is refreshing.
It's the same 'caught between two boys' scenario, that is so common in adolescent novels, but it grabs you, and you become intrigued- and before I had finished the first book, I have ordered the next 3.
More could have happened- the first 3/4 of the book Kylie wouldn't admit she was a supernatural, and this could have wasted precious time, but giving it the benefit of the doubt as it was the first one in the series.
It leaves certain things untold, things that I assume will be answered in the next few books, hence why I am hooked.
Here's to hoping Amazon bring the next 3 books soon!
