This is a melancholic collection of short stories but there’s a thread of hope and humor — and I felt privileged to be “with” each character in their story. Themes of generational trauma and missing and murder indigenous people (esp. women) are embedded within “everyday” stories - poignantly and accurately portraying the truth of the far too “ordinary” occurrence.
