Shut the front door! Especially if it is a perfectly retro painted front door to a gelato shop.
I've never met a Josie Silver book I didn't like, they all deal with tragedy and loss and love with a grace that is as equally heart wrenching as it is compassionate.
From the "meet cute", the gelato, the romantic NYC over the holidays setting, the rambunctious families, and of course, the invisible strings tying everyone together. It's sweet and satisfying, just like I'd imagine the Belotti gelato is.
BUT! There were points where I was almost screeching in horror at the miscommunication and lies and the amalgamation of all of the secrets.
