Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

4.0

“One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”

Don't get me wrong, Clockwork Angel is great but I expected so much more from it than what I actually got. It was fast-paced and action-packed but I couldn't help but wish Jem would die through-out the entire novel.

I also want to applaud Mrs Clare on taking on a huge risk with having some of the novel set in Wales. It's so easy to get it wrong, but she blew me away. In fact I'd love to see how some of the American people tried to pronounce it.

“It's all right to love someone who doesn't love you back, as long as they're worth you loving them. As long as they deserve it.”
