You know the kind of book that hit all your buttons in a good way? You know the kind of book of which you read the first half page of it and you just know that it will be good and that you'll love it and you still think that when you read the last word of the book? You know the kind of book that has a set characters you don't have any other choice except to love them? Such a book this book is for me. I love it.

It's full of H/C, angst, heartbreak, hope, love and friendship. It shows that love doesn't magically heals everything or that a relationship needs to be "worked" on every day. But it shows that love can be a great support system that can help in the darkest hours.

Ash's past is breaking my heart and the horrors Pete sees in every shift? *hugs them both*

I like that there are ups and downs and that both characters have friends (male and female) outside their relationship and that everybody doesn't like everbody all the time but is willing to try to make it work to make the other one happy.

I also love that there is no easy fix for Ash's issues and that we know that it will be a long, difficult way ahead for Ash (and Pete) but that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I think, that this is the first M/M romance book in which one or both main character identify as bisexual (don't give me that look Pete) or don't want labels to be applied to them. I like.

In short - wonderfull book with wonderfull characters I love.
