Girl meets hot girl at bookshop and flirts over a copy of Carol yet fails to make her move. Girl then has to spend Christmas alone so agrees to fake date a guy in his family's mansion to make his Christmas less awkward. Girl then finds out hot girl is guy's sister and spends Christmas awfully flustered. It's silly, funny and cliche but a very cosy Christmas read.

Also, this big time: "The worst thing about other people's families is that they think everything in their house is 'normal' and no one hands you the guidebook on the way in. You just have to guess."
