I have become numb to the pain. Now I realize maybe it's not a good idea to read this series book after book.

I found Helene's POV the most interesting and found myself caring less for the others POV. So much so that I got annoyed sometimes when the POVs switched. The pacing was so slow in the first half that it took me longer than it should have to complete the book. But I really liked the plot in this one.

I have come to like Harper very much and that scares me. Because we all know what happens to characters we come to like. Please let him be fine🥺🥺. On that note, let Elias be happy for once. Why!? Why does he have to suffer THIS much?! Let him beee!

Overall, a fun read and cannot wait to read the next book to feel satisfied with the completed story.

PS: Still waiting for Keris to die. I can't wait to see her get the ending she deserves.
