Bossypants by Tina Fey

3.0

So after starting, and getting through much of this book on the audio version, I obtained a paperback version to read while not in the car-- and I subsequently finished the book in one sitting.

I enjoy Tina Fey as an actor. The movies and shows she has been in usually make me laugh, and I was hoping her book would do the same. Listening on audio definitely adds to the comedy and the enjoyment to the reader. But because I started that way, and I knew how Tina read on the audio, so I was able to imagine how she would've read the rest of the book without hearing it.

The audio book is a fun way to listen for sure, adding to the enjoyment of the story. I enjoyed seeing the photographs that she talked about in print, again adding to the enjoyment.

There were some opinions mentioned, that not everyone is going to agree with or enjoy, that were mentioned in particular near the end of the book and because I read this and didn't listen it's hard to tell how serious she was with the statements made.

Overall, an enjoyable read. Lighthearted, and funny. I'd recommend the audio version for sure.
