Always Only You by Chloe Liese

This hockey romance is so much more than your typical hovkey romance. There is no stupid other woman drama, no puck bunnies, it is a sweet, endearing romance with amazing family dynamics and characters that have such depth. I spent so much time, laughing and swinging over this sweet romance and it really healed my soul.

I love Frankie and Ren as a couple. She was so oblivious to everything and he was in love with her.

My heart broke for Frankie because she felt like a burden due to her arthritis and autism by Ren shows her that she’s not a burden and was so in tune with all her needs. The most important thing to Frankie is her independence and Ren never disrespect that it is the perfect partner, not simply just a boyfriend. I think it’s so funny that she is called Frank the crank”, and a her crazy dog that is just always there to provide a good laugh.

Ren, the happy go lucky hockey player who likes Shakespeare and drives a van with a band of siblings, what can I say about you? He hates violence on the eyes and is smitten by a headstrong stubborn woman and it is amazing. It is boy falls first. He’s been crushing on her for three years and he can no longer avoid them.

Tropes: grumpy (fmc)/ sunshine, sports romance, workplace romance, forced proximity, own voices, virgin mic
Triggers: chronic illness
