I'm don't really read comics very often, so I'm not too sure how to write a useful review for one. So my apologies if this isn't really relevant.

I enjoyed this. As I mentioned, I don't really read comics very often although I do want to get into them more. This was also my very first marvel comic, and I think that might have been a little mistake. There were tons of references to previous comics that I did not get, and lots of information was skipped because those were stories that had already been told. That being said, I was still able to understand this all the way through, if with a little confusion at times.

I really liked all the characters. I liked getting to see characters I'd never heard of before as well as getting to see characters I do know, and of course Loki. I am a huge Loki fan and I really enjoyed getting to see so much focus on him. I also think this comic did a much better job of showing Loki's gender fluidity than the recent TV show did, and I also could definitely see hints of what inspired the TV show in this book too. I really enjoy the idea of multiple Loki's.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the subsequent volume(s) at some point, but I'm not itching to read them immediately. This was a very pleasant quick read for the one afternoon and I am looking forward to getting the chance to read more Marvel comics.
