I loved this book. Controversial? Who cared. I was well known in school to read Banned Books.
The girls in this book are polar opposites. I love the way they both feel ready, and even reluctant for the party. When it comes to the idea of the party it made me feel this can happen. It could happen with teens. This book is a good example of controversy for many topics in books, but also can teach us that things like this can happen.
I will always recommend this to people if they are open minded and want something new to read.
