I loved Better Than the Movies and I've been so excited to read this ever since I found out about it. I specifically saved it for Valentines day and I think that added to the fun of reading this. I loved the characters so much. Nick has a special place in my heart. He's so sweet and him and Emilie have very cute banter. Their DONC was so fun. I honestly think I smiled like 90% of the time while reading this.
I did expect that their DONC would be the last day in the loop from basically the time that day started. I just found it very easy to guess based on how many times Emilie brought up that Nick wouldn't remember any of it in the morning. And I found it too good to be true that'd she get away with all the crazy stuff she did that day. I also enjoyed the way the drama with Josh wrapped up. I think that Josh cheating in the time loop was used as a way to teach Emilie that he wasn't right for her.
I liked how the time loop served as a way of showing Emilie that love doesn't mean finding someone who perfectly checks off your list of criteria. Love is about finding someone who you can be unapologetically yourself with as Nick is to Emilie. But I also like that the time loop served an even greater purpose

here's some quotes I liked:
I had a marvelous time ruining everything

I fell in love with you on Valentine's Day, Emilie, but I need more than just seven minutes

"Yes, Emilie Hornby, I'm here to tell you that I'm a little obsessed with you. With this." He raised his hands and cupped my face. "With us."

I remember everything about you, Em

"I love you, Nick Stark." I blinked fast and was surprised by how emotional I felt. My throat was tight as I said, "It won't count tomorrow and it'll be like I never said it, but on this Valentine's Day, I fell in love with you.

It wasn't until he cleaned out his truck and could still smell her perfume on his brother's jacket, that he was almost suffocated by how much he missed her.
ahhhh time to obsess over this for the next forever
