Shouting from the rooftops about how perfect this book is!!! I know I always says that each book she puts out is her best, but that’s because it is!!! I don’t know how she keeps topping herself, all I know is that I don’t want it to end.
This one is perfect for all you new adult sports lovers. Page after page, you’ll quickly devour this book. It’s everything you’ll want and for. This is the most satisfied over ever been with the end of a book. Usually I’m left wanted more, but Meagan hit all the marks with this one.
Can we all take a moment of silence to appreciate the fictional being that is Tobey because I mean COME ON!!! Also major props to Meyer. That’s one thing I always love about Brandy’s writing. The women are always so strong and roll with the punches, they can stand on their own without a man. Nonetheless, I’m still totally obsessed with Tobey.
My favorite thing about this book was how Tobey handled finding out Meyer’s secret. It was refreshing to see that reveal written so differently from other books I’ve read with that same kind of twist. It made me love Tobey all the more.
Also I think it’s a compliment to the author when they can write a character that I dislike because I know that was their intention. Thomas is indeed that man. On a lighter note, Bailey is everything and was the most unexpected pleasant surprise.
As usual, in signature Brandy style, there are twists, there’s swoons, but most of all, there’s love. You absolutely will not want to miss this one. Such an amazing 5-star read!!
