2.75⭐️ I didn't realize this was a novella until I started reading it which made me lower my expectations a little bit. If you can overlook plot and just see it for smut then this is a fun easy read thats probs closer to 4 stars but I like to be objective in my reviews. I did not like that everything went over well with a pretty little bow. I want messier and Kayla Grosse books always gives me a best outcome which is why they don't completely work for me. She also has a really simple way of writing which is fun and free for getting out of a reading slump but doesn't scratch the itch for a really good book for me. I do think both the characters had chemistry but there's no rhyme or reason as to why for me.
