Black Alchemist by Andrew Collins

2.0

This book took me years to finish. I persevered because it wasn’t awfully written and the conceit is interesting; but if you like the cover of this book — and you would be mad not to, it’s awesome — you should be aware that it has no plot to speak of, no denouement whatsoever, and consists of apparently real-life documentary action related painstakingly but consisting predominantly of a couple of guys drinking beers and describing their daydreams to each other. They are moderately interesting daydreams! Good work BLACK ALCHEMIST, whomsoever ye may be.
