I do not usually read books with long description about walls and trees and clouds and what not but this one I thought had the perfect balance between description and plot, plus it was short and fast paced and so I breezed through it, the writing was angsty, some description really did hit the spot although sometimes I thought it was overdone. The story itself was a bit too simple but usual of this time period, the "spiritual" and "soul" part of the book didn't exactly do anything to me and only perplexed me but other than that a solid book.
