10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World
by Elif Shafak
This was my first book by Elif Shafak and it will not be my last.
I loved the premise and the way we were introduced to Leila, her past and her friends in a play on the idea of life flashing before your eyes. (that's my take on it any way).
Elif Shafak's writing style made the characters come to life, both the good and the bad. I found myself caring for Leila and her group of five friends and equally struggling to find anything good to think about some of the other characters.
Off to decide which book to read next.
