more than words by Jill Santopolo

This one has been on my shelf for a while and I am so happy I finally opened it up. The story is about Nina, the daughter of a hotel owner who has taught her to always present her best and represent their family before thinking of herself. Following his cancer diagnosis, Nina is dealing with finding who she is, taking over the family business and coming to terms with her fathers decisions.

I loved this story! Somehow I connected to the character so much even though we’ve had few similar life experiences. That to me tells me how much I love an author, when I can put myself in another’s shoes so easily.

This book deals with grief in a lot of detail and I loved how it was discussed. I really liked the supporting characters and how they all played a different role in helping or hurting Nina while she healed.

I recommend this one if you are looking for a heart tugging story of resilience and romance.
