This was a cute debut.
Ethan and James are rookies for a Major League Baseball team. After bonding at training camp, they decide to live together back in Boston. Ethan is gay and falling for his straight (very flirty and affectionate) friend, James. The story follows them through the season.
Overall, I enjoyed reading about Ethan and James; however, I don’t feel like there was enough character development to be truly invested in them and their relationship. The story did have elements I love- friends to lovers, pining, bi-awakening, golden retriever MC, and sports.
