Wolfhunter River

I have given this book 3 stars, quite frankly cause I have no idea what to think of it.
I, personally, am a huge fan of the author! I have read all her books, and always buy them without even needing to read what they are going to be about; however, this time I have to admit I was rather disappointed. I was under the impression it would be a continuation of the story unravelled by the previous books in the story, and on this front, I was highly disappointed. There is a couple of info regarding the storyline we all know, but in reality, it is a book that is completely separate; making me wonder why it is part of this series?
On the other hand, I wouldn't have minded about it, if the book didn't spend most of its time recapping events from previous books, making me hope that eventually, something extraordinary would happen, which never did.
Past that, and as a separate story, it follows the style of the author and it is as thrilling as one expects!
Overall, I would recommend this book, but caution the buyer that it is a rather separate story.
