I waited to finish the series before reviewing anything.
So here goes.
I finished the series rather quickly (like a week), because I loved the characters so much (whoa yea). I loved the humor and the sarcasm. That's probably what drew me in those first few pages of Anew.
I didn't think that Gabriel would be such a softy. It didn't make too too much sense for Scarlet to be so into him at first. (To avoid spoilers I guess it makes a lot more sense laterr). And like everyone else I swoony swooned for Tristan. Because. Yeaaah. Tristan. Man.
Ok anyways, loved the best friend, Heather. For real. Moody teenagers need sparkly bright things to hold onto. I recommend to any and all witty, sarcastic young adults - find your sparkly right now. It's lifesaving.
Sparkly happy sarcastic things aside I loved the premise. It was original (ok love triangles - not so much but still), witty (I like this word), and exciting. Yes way exciting. Although, I did notice the author had a hard time keeping all characters involved during conversations (especially when something super funny was happening, I felt like not everyone was reacting or involved) I thought the structure of the story was badass and I loved the writing style.
I couldn't get to the next book fast enough because yeah...cliffhanger!! Woo hoo! So glad I found this. Thoroughly enjoyed.
