Waypoints: My Scottish Journey by Sam Heughan
5.0
Sam is such a beautiful writer. He really captures the senses when painting the backdrops of his stories.
Waypoints is a dual journey. He shares about his childhood and journey to acting woven through the tale of his six-day long hike in the Highlands. I read parts and listened to parts (because obviously, one would want to hear his delightful voice), so I do want to note that the audiobook includes recordings from the trail while he was in the moment. It adds a wonderful layer to his story as you can literally hear the Scottish rain beating down on him.
