This books FUCKING HURTS. It’s addicting. But it HURTS. Is the relationship a bit toxic? Yes. Does Lizzie have allooottt of personal work to do? YES. Is Hugh one of the best book boyfriends ever? YES. I still ate it up and I’m begging for the next one.
Also? It could have been less graphic and shorter (which is why it didn’t get the 5 stars). It was very very heavy at times.
