Upright Women Wanted
by Sarah Gailey
This book set out to do a lot of things and then fell short. I wish the world had been more immersive and that the plot didn’t feel so rushed, but it was a fun story nonetheless. It read like a short story, honestly.
I’m adding a star simply because of the acknowledgment to the queer community at the end that made me cry.
“This is for you. This is for all of you. There’s a place for you in the future, and it’s better than you can possibly imagine. Please be there to meet it. We need you on our side.”
