If you are looking for an entertaining read that will not be overtaxing, this is a great choice. That is not to say that it's lowbrow or not well-written. This is a novel that tells a compelling story and incorporates a lot of important issues and conversations, and it is just extremely readable. If you are sensitive to social taboos or sexual proclivities you will not enjoy this at all, but otherwise, you should find this novel titillating and at times hilarious. I'm not going to say it's the best book I have ever read, but I did enjoy it and was kept engaged in the story throughout the entire book. Come for the relatable characters and stay for the social commentary!
