This book had me in a chokehold from start to finish! The emotional turmoil, the tension, the heartbreak - I was not prepared.
The push and pull between Dianna and Samkiel was intense. I dreaded their back-and-forth because, let’s be real, we allknew she wanted that man! But Dianna doesn’t allow herself to feel anything except pain, and watching her constantly shove Samkiel away (when he was just trying his best) was frustrating. I understood her grief, but she wasn’t just mourning—she was consumed by vengeance, shutting out the people who truly cared for her. The loss of her sister, Gabby, was her breaking point.
And Gabby’s letter? Destroyed me. I sobbed right alongside Dianna.
But finally, my girlie pop Dianna gave in, and we got some well-earned spicy moments! 🔥🥵
The unraveling of secrets and hidden truths kept me hooked, and just when I thought I had things figured out—BOOM! The final twists completely wrecked me. The last few chapters had me screaming WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! I had my suspicions, but when everything came to light… Amber, when I catch you!!!
The devastation, the betrayal, the pain—I need time to recover. This book shredded my heart, and yet, I’d do it all over again.
Highly recommend if you love emotional rollercoasters, morally gray characters, and jaw-dropping twists!

Moderate: Death, Violence, Grief
Major secrets unravel toward the end, completely shifting the narrative and making the main character question everything she believed
