the instant valka said "we should have kids! :)" i knew she was dead. and sure enough. her character had vanished anyway, somewhere along the line going from outspoken cutting woman with motivations and goals to generic sidepiece who follows the main character wherever he goes. I may be giving her initial characterization too much credit. anyway. still reading this shit
