I ate this book UP! I was getting The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel vibes with a bit of The Rosie Project, or for a more recent release The Maid. I could totally see this being a very successful mini-series.

One thing I do want to note about the book, however, is that while Elizabeth is our main character and we follow her story, the book at its core revolves around Calvin. I won't give anything away but once you finish the book you'll realize this.
