Faebound by Saara El-Arifi

The worldbuilding in this book is amazing, I love how we find little bits out as the story develops. It was fun learning the different culture and history between the elves, fae and even the humans.
I love each character, they all have weaknesses and flaws, they all have such great development and I cannot wait to see them continue to grow as characters in the next books. I liked seeing all the relationship struggles and seeing them flourish, in friendship, family and lovers.
It was a bit slow to get into the book but once past the first 150 pages things did speed up. But the plot itself was a bit boring, I would have liked a bit more action, especially since on of the main fmc was a coronal.
I did guess the big reveals so I would have liked a bit more suspense and surprise from them, but they were still very good twists and additions to the plot.
Overall it was a fun read and I will read the next one at some point.
