The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary

3.0

I recommend this book if you like:
-contemporary romance (slow burn)
-ex-boyfriend drama
-great friendships

Trigger warning: stalking, mental abuse.

This book was an easy, light read for me. I really enjoyed reading the notes between Tiffy and Leon. Their relationship was very gradual and natural.

Tiffy is trying to move her life forward after the end of her relationship. Her friends are so supportive, it was great to read about how great friendships can help you become a happier, better version of yourself.

I like the fact that the author fast forwards 2 years for us to glimpse into the future.

Did I ship Tiffy and Leon? Not overly which is disappointing.

This book is worth a read. It really had me turning the pages. Some great side line stories too.

Leon's POV writing style was quite off-putting at the beginning. Lacking in pronouns was a hurdle for me but I got used to it eventually.

I would have given more stars if I had been more invested in the relationship.
