Rowan is a single hockey player who only had to worry about his career until he found out he had a daughter. It was heartwarming to read about how Rowan grows as a dad and a person and heals from the past because of Hadley's support. Hadley is a caring, loving, and forgiving person willing to help everyone else but not willing to keep anything for herself. Seeing her get what she has dreamed of after giving up on it was beautiful.
Hadley coming back into Rowan's life along with his abandoned baby and helping him navigate his new life is what they both needed even if they didn’t know it.
