Highly intellectual and challenging, but very interesting and thought-provoking. I would need to listen to it a second time to understand it fully.
Note that this is not a guide to writing a novel, but musings upon what makes a novel good. It will make more sense if you have already read some novels by Kafka, Proust, Joyce and Kundera himdelf.
