A Million Quiet Revolutions by Robin Gow

Did not finish book. Stopped at 70%.
I wish I enjoyed this. I know the author is a poet but there was absolutely no reason for this to be in verse and tbh it just took away from the book for me. It felt stilted and hard to read because it didn’t flow like poetry with each stanza being a “verse” all on its own, it just felt like they’d written a page and then broke it up into small sentences.

There were a few really heartfelt moments and quotes in there and I think teens would really enjoy this. I unfortunately just couldn’t get over the format :(
