The story continues as Olivia dives deeper into the mysteries of how she became who she is and how she got there. She dives deeper into the questions surrounding her parents and the town of Cainsville. I so enjoyed getting to know Gabriel a little more, his story intrigued me and left me wanting more of him. The way he and Olivia interact has me laughing out loud at times.
The story took an unexpected turn for me, one I wasn’t expecting but am intrigued by. I have so many more questions about the town and am excited to get more out of the mystery of her parents and the murders.
This book got less stars for me because at times the story dragged on, although I love the backstories, and there was a little too much sexual content that I thought could have been downplayed a little more. All in all I am excited to grab the next installment and immerse myself in Cainsville.
