Short, simple and dark - I'd compare this book to an espresso shot. It keeps you awake, but leaves you a tad unsatisfied.
This story is about two sisters - Ayoola, the beauty and Korede, the brains. It'll make a good book for a book club discussion or for a buddy read. Lots of uncomfortable moments and it feels strange to read about a subject like murder, in such a light hearted manner.
The author shows another angle to the way trauma has been processed by these two sisters. I wanted to know more about what happens to the sisters though.
