This book was written so beautifully! It was everything I didn't know I needed! It's a story about the difficulties and struggles of war but its also a love story! This story made me want to start writing again myself. Sometimes I find myself longing for a connection with someone through my writing like the main characters in this story! I loved the magical bond that brought the characters together literally.
This is a story about connectionswhether its opposites attract / nemesis, or strangers turned found family. The bonds in this book were very heartwarming and encouraging to read about!
When we got to the war itself I felt like I was on the battle field along with Iris and Roman. The descriptions were brought to life, they were horrid but also drew me in and I was on the edge of my seat. I also kinda of saw the ending coming. I had a feeling that something along the lines of what happened at the end was going to happen. But I feel very connected to these characters and I'm dying to know what is going to happen in the next book!
