abzhozay 's review for:
This book had really great potential. I honestly liked the idea of this book when I first read the synopsis, but the execution was kind of weak. Maybe I compared this book to Bob Goff's books like "Love Does" and "Everybody Always". It had the same style and pattern. There was too many "side stories" and not enough application and lessons. Most of the side stories were from not the author's experiences, but from other random people's that I wasn't even invested in most of the stories. Because of that, it took me a little while to get through the book. Despite what I just said, it was an okay book. I did appreciate the purpose of why it was written and I did like what the author said towards the end in the epilogue, "Gratitude isn't about treasuring just the good events; it's about how you choose to respond in the good and bad."
