This is one of the best fantasy books I've ever read.
It's written incredibly well, Lee has such an attention to detail and it realy pays off in the worldbuilding. The charicters are very well developed, they feel like real people. They're not good people, but you can't help but root for them. The plot is fast and entertaining. I was never bored. There was so many parts were I actualy gasped or shouted at the book, in excitment, frustration or shock. The tone is dark and gritty, and everything is overdramatic in a great way. The action scenes were so exciting, and the politics were thrilling.
It is highly male dominated, and I would love to see more women have important roles in the book, but I understand that it being male dominated makes it more realistic, as its obviously alot easie for men to obtain a position of power.
I would recommend this book.
