A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

This is probably my favorite book of all time. I first read it in 9th grade and I found the story very suspenseful and exciting. From Mme Defarge's ominous knitting to Sydney Carton's sacrifice, it gets me every time! Oh yeah, and I have a thing for French history. Duh.
