The title suggests a balanced discussion of alternative medicine. Not in this book. It was a rant against alternatives to western medicine. Some of it very well deserved. Some very intelligent people have made the mistake of forsaking western medicine, Steve Jobs being the most glaring example. But this author really had it in for Dr. Oz, Oprah and Depak Chopra. There are alternatives that do work, the author omitted those from this treatment.
