as foreseen, the sequel does not compare to the first.
having recently read scc, the memory of each character has not been forgotten! which is why it was harder to read. some characters felt so forced like reiji, qinnia, and bandur. and shiori was frustrating as ever? if not more.
most importantly, i’m super upset about the way things turned out for seryu. he was my favorite character and he was done so dirty!!!!
anyway, the duology turned out okay. what it lacked for me far outweighed my overall enjoyment.
