Destiny of the Dead by Kel Kade

4.0

Destiny of the Dead was a great follow up to Fate of the Fallen. Too much time had passed since I read the first book so it took me quite a while to really submerge myself into this book as I was constantly trying to remember things from book one. The last 100 pages are really where this book shone and I felt like I really knew and understood the characters again. I hope to see more relationship and camaraderie in the next book. A lot happens in this book but I really missed the feelings of relationships. I loved Matthias and his talking head in book one but geez was he an arrogant jerk in this book. He was constantly belittling Aaslo and being a distraction in crucial moments. I hope to see him again as more of comedic relief instead of pain in the butt next book.
