Laundry Love: Finding Joy in a Common Chore by Patric Richardson, Karin B. Miller
5.0
Very much enjoyed this short book, which was really much more than I thought it would be. I do the laundry in my house and have thought of it as my contribution to running the place. It is, as Richardson calls it, an act of love.
I lost my Mom at a young age, so I learned this stuff as best I could. But I didn't get to learn it from her. The biggest surprise of this book was the heart as he writes about his mother and Granny Dude and how little acts can cause so much happiness.
My wool balls and soap flakes arrive today.
