When I started this book, I thought it was going to be a typical romance novel, with lots of sex and drama, and I think so did most of the people who rated this novel so poorly. However, it instead reads like a gay version of a late 80s / early 90s paranormal series, which I enjoy immensely.

Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Mercedes Lackey or Jane Yolen or the like. A bit more references to boners, but what do you expect?
