The Silent Girls
by Ann Troup
My thanks to the publisher and netgalley for an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
After the death of her Aunt Dolly, Edie goes to Dollys house to clear it out in preparation for selling it. Edie has to do this alone as her sister Rose can't be there. Going back to the house where her and Rose spent a lot of their childhood triggers a lot of memories. The square where the house is has some very bad vibes as many years ago it was the scene of some terrible murders.
I found the beginning of this book very slow moving and did feel like giving up at times but I persevered with it. I did hover improve in the second half and I enjoyed it a lot more. There was a lot of characters in this book and at time I struggled to remember who they all were.
