The Prison Doctor by Amanda Brown
4.0

The Prison Doctor was a good read for me. I liked the way Amanda Brown shows and tells us the experiences with her paitents and how difficult it is for her at times to handle them. Amanda Brown also talks about how she feels herself and the effects of working as a doctor in a wild and sometimes threating prison.

This book gives light to people who do not know what priosn is like from the inside. The way Amanda Brown decribes the prison in some cases is devasting to hear but gives information to the reader in a keen way.

I read the book in a matter of weeks however it was tricky for me in the beginning to start reading but once I had got past the first chapter I flew throught the book and enjoyed reading it.

This book is filled with an important message and I would recommend this to a friend to read as I found it enjoyable even though I dont normally pick out authors who share their own personal stories.
