This book is a fantastic mix of fantasy, romance, and police procedural. I was hooked from the start, and the characters wormed their way into my heart without much resistance!
I sped through the entire book in two days, and I can't wait for the next in the series!
One pet peeve (that likely won't bother others): The men in the book are often referred to as "males," which sounded cringey and clinical to me. But I could move past that easily because the story is compelling!
