this one was a nice dark romance read but i personally was expecting a bit more after all the hype on bookstagram. don't get me wrong, i do love jeremy volkov and i absolutely loved cecily and her growth and character development. however, i can't quite put a finger on why the book just didn't do it for me in the way i expected. jeremy was sometimes a bit too much, especially towards the end regarding the whole misunderstanding with landon (that was hella annoying) and overall i was just really missing at least some kind of plotline to follow. the spice was good though and the character development as well and it was still a good book, just not amazing.
